Vocational Outcomes in Traumatic Brain Injury
“INTERVENTIONS THAT WORK”
CALL FOR PAPERS
EXPANDED SCOPE
The third international conference on Vocational Outcomes in Traumatic Brain Injury once again invites one-hour presentations, poster sessions and two-hour workshops on topics related to the vocational rehabilitation of our target group, including economic, psychosocial, legal and medical aspects of work re-entry. Presentations should focus on strategies that have proven to be effective for improving vocational outcomes for people with traumatic brain injuries.
However, this year we are expanding our focus to include all aspects of functional recovery for survivors of traumatic brain injury. Three streams of programming will be featured: research findings; practitioners presenting outcomes; and outcomes for military entitled “Caring for the Wounded Warrior”.
The audience includes vocational rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, physicians, occupational and physiotherapists, speech language pathologists, social workers, community support professionals, lawyers and insurance carriers.
